Also on 2020, although the actual emergency condition, Bologna Licensing Trade Fair reconfirmes the Bologna Licensing Award for the forth year, the only Award for the Licensing Industry. This is a recognition aimed at the best licensing project developed during the previous year and which covered the PRE-SCHOOL, KIDS, TEEN and ADULT targets, as well as special mentions for Retail, Fashion and the Best Property of the Year. Two awards for the Promotion category were inaugurated in 2019. For this year, the novelty is the introduction of a brand new award, which is the Best Licensed Publishing Project, addressed to the evergreen liaison between publishing and licensing.
In 2019 the awards were decided by a high-level jury that is transversal to the rich licensing industry, ranging from publishing to sector research, to entertainment. Below are the names and profiles of the three experts who will select the Bologna Licensing Award 2020.
